How much does EV charger installation cost in Cambridge?

I'm on a rural property outside Cambridge, can you still help?
Yes. We cover the rural roads around Cambridge including the Karapiro area and Hautapu. Rural installs sometimes involve longer cable runs or shed installations, which we quote for separately. Just get in touch and we'll work it out.
Will my existing switchboard handle a home EV charger?
It depends on the age of your home. Newer Leamington builds are usually fine. Older homes in central Cambridge sometimes need a circuit breaker upgrade, which we flag during the site assessment and include in your quote if needed.
How long does installation take?
Most residential installs in Cambridge are done in two to three hours. Rural properties or more complex setups can take a little longer - we'll confirm when we quote.
Do I need a permit or Certificate of Compliance?
Yes. Any new electrical circuit requires a Certificate of Compliance under New Zealand law. We handle all the paperwork and issue the certificate as part of every installation.
